Alpina is 10y/o standing about 14.3hh and a beautiful example of the Haflinger breed (though not registered). Everyone loves watching her move and believes she would make a fantastic driving horse. I purchased her in mid 2013 for my boyfriend to ride but she is a little too much horse for him. Alpina is the sweetest and friendliest mare I’ve ever been around. She LOVES attention and would be happy even as somebodies pet. Very easy to handle on the ground but despite her age I’d consider her a little green and for at least an intermediate rider. I believe she just needs more miles put on her. I was told she was trained to drive, but I don’t have a cart so haven’t done that myself. I do have a harness and she seems more comfortable ground driving than riding. Not in a hurry to get rid of this sweet mare but want to find her a fantastic home. I can’t justify keeping her around when nobody is riding her or giving her the attention she deserves and loves.
